Art for Connection & Creativity
Hi, I’m Sam— an artist, designer, and creative collaborator with a passion for making art accessible, memorable, and a little bit unexpected.
I’ve been immersed in art since I was young, with a foundation in classical painting and early training that led me to earn my BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City (2011), where I focused on painting and printmaking
After graduating, I honed my craft at a fine art screen printing atelier, working on large-scale prints for blue chip artists like Robert Indiana, Jane Dickson, Bob Gruen, and Ron English. From there, I built a career in commercial screen printing and heat transfers — growing from prepress artist to managing customer-facing art services, then supporting Key Accounts like Hard Rock Cafe, Fanatics, Harley Davidson, Universal Music, US Soccer, and Lululemon.
While my corporate work has given me invaluable experience with large-scale projects and creative problem solving, I’ve always kept one foot in the studio. Over the years, I’ve continued to freelance, paint, print, and design — and in the past 7 years, I’ve focused more than ever on personal projects that bring people and art together.
Today, I love hosting workshops in embroidery, watercolor, and screen printing, and creating art kits that invite people to explore creativity at home — complete with hand-printed packaging and illustrated booklets. You’ll also find me live at events, offering on-site embroidery, screen printing, and heat pressing that transform everyday gatherings into something a little more special.
I believe in the power of handmade work, thoughtful design, and creative collaboration — whether it’s guiding someone through their first embroidery stitch, printing a run of custom shirts, or helping a brand tell its story in a fresh way.
If you’d like to learn, collaborate, or add a meaningful artistic touch to your project or event — I’d love to connect.
